A playful homage (read: "ripoff") to the waxpack art from the classic MARS ATTACKS trading card series from the swingin' 60's featuring (what else) brutish gorillas in place of bug-eyed martian invaders!

4-color design soft discharge screenprinted (no thick plastisol) on paprika Gildan Softstyle 4.5 oz 100% ringspun cotton, 1-color BeastWreck logo printed on back.

BEASTWRECK ATTACKS!

Finished the colors for my BEASTWRECK ATTACKS design. It's an homage (aka "rip-off") of the wax-pack art from the original MARS ATTACKS trading card series from the 60's. I've had a soft-spot in my heart for Mars Attacks ever since encountering the original cards when they were reprinted in the 80's, not only for the involvement of ace artist Wally Wood, but for the sheer sci-fi/pulp greasy pop-goodness of the concept and execution. Love it! This design will soon find it's way to various products (namely shirts/stickers/buttons) in the BEASTWRECK SHIRTS & STUFF shop! Stay tuned!
